new apartment!

uneasy_cornerstoneSo my dad and I made the drive up north today. We made it in six and a half hours, which is a record, but we had awesome traffic through LA and very little up the central valley, and I sped 95% of the time, so it wasn't really that unexpected.
The apartment is awesome. :) I'm mostly unpacked, although I'm not sure if I'm going to remember where I put everything tomorrow. Especially in the kitchen - we'll see. The Comcast guy is coming tomorrow to set up our internet and TV, so I can stop stealing the neighbor's wireless. The only real issue I'm having is that I haven't had a chance to figure out the alarm system yet. That makes me a little nervous, since we're on the first floor, and I am paranoid as fuck.
BUT ANYWAY I am happy to be back at school, even though school itself doesn't start for another week and a half.
